Tropicana opens 2 house models By Nelson C. Bagaforo
PRYCE Properties Corp., the country's leading housing developer, held the blessing of two model units under its "Tropicana House and Lot Package" last April 6, 2003. An open house followed from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Leilani C. Diaz, Pryce-Davao marketing services manager, said the affair was a huge success with Pryce's top officials, Davao City bankers -- among them from Metrobank, China Bank, Anchor Bank and Bank of Philippine Islands, members of the Sunday Runners Club, headed by its president Severino Herrera Jr., and Davao Aguila Riders, led by its president Boy Manawis, in attendance.
During the affair, Pryce also launched its attractive offer but made available only until April 13. Under its "Todo Beinte%...Sure Na" promo package, Diaz said a buyer should have availed of 20 percent discount on model unit's total purchase price on spot cash plus free landscape. It also offered a 20 percent discount on the down payment if buyers preferred its installment basis.
Tropicana's model houses, the Mediterrano and Oceanica, were opened to the public on that day. Councilor Mabel Sunga, artist Rachel Holazo and businessman Tom Macintosh led the cutting of the ribbon with Fr. Lando Manresa, associate parish priest of Toril, officiating the blessing rites.
Tropicana, which is phase 4 of Villa Josefina Resort Village, is an exclusive village in Dumoy, Toril in Davao City developed and owned by Pryce Properties.
CMMMM Marketing Group headed by Chona Oliver is its marketing arm, but Diaz encourages other groups to register with Pryce so that they, too, could come up with marketing plans and strategies for Tropicana.
Tropicana is the only exclusive subdivision in Davao City with a beachfront. It is unique as it nestled between a mountainside -- the magnificent Mt. Apo as a breathtaking backdrop -- and a beachside, the fabled Davao Gulf as a next-door neighbor.
Tropicana actually offers three house models for prospective clients to choose from. These house models -- all designed to fulfill Pryce's commitment to provide "resort home in the city" -- are named as Mediterrano, Oceanica and Havana. These houses will be built on a lot area of at least 150 sq.m.
Mediterrano has a floor area of 112 sq. m. It is single detached, two-story unit with living, dining and family areas, kitchen, 2 toilet and bath, balcony, 4 bedrooms, a carport and porch.
Oceanica carries the same features but only has a floor area of 102 sq. m. For those who are starting a family, Havana is an ideal home. It has almost the same features as Mediterrano and Oceanica, only it has a floor area of 87 sq. m. Also it has only three bedrooms and a single toilet and bath.
You can own one of these houses without so much to think about in terms of financing. Since it is a medium-cost housing project, Pryce offers a financing scheme options that include spot cash (where clients can avail of big discount), deferred cash (with no interest payable in six months) and bank financing, which offers a minimum 15 percent down payment.
State-of-the-art amenities are already in place at Tropicana, including a modern and Mediterranean-inspired clubhouse, two Olympic size swimming pools, sports and other recreational facilities.
True enough, you can live in comfort and at the same time unwind in the beauty of nature at Tropicana.
