Genon, Chua share honors
FIVE-YEAR Tour of Luzon veteran Paterno Genon, 63, and Adrien Chua took the oldest and youngest rider titles in last Saturday's bike-for-a-cause from Ulas basketball court to the Philippine Eagle Center in Malagos, Davao City.
They received prizes from the organizers of the fun ride held in coordination with the Philippine Amateur Cycling Association (Paca) 11.
Conchita Bisnar, however, got the lady biker and undying spirit awards from Alex Aloy and Angelito Cereno.
Sunday Bowlers tourney resumes
THE Sunday Bowlers Club 55-above individual bowling tournament resumes tonight at the Fair Lanes Bowling Center along F. Torres St.
The final two games in the eight-game elimination round will be played to determine the top three teams who will advance to the up-the-ladder championship round.
Boy Soriano, Alex Tan, Nonoy Lacuesta and Paul Rabe are the early leaders in the bowlfest.
Dayanan, Dalumpines enter championships
DAVAO City standouts Ted Dayanan and Michael Dalumpines entered the championship round of their respective events in the President's Cup National Age-Group Table Tennis Championships at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Dayanan and Dalumpines were still slugging it out with their opponents in men's 50-under and men's open categories, respectively, as of presstime.
Former RP national team member Dalumpines is now playing for the Philippine Air Force (PAF). MLS
