Brillantes' cocks worth P90T stolen

AT LEAST 13 fighting cocks of slain Monkayo Mayor Joel Brillantes were carted away by an unidentified suspect, according to the caretaker of JB Farm at Barangay Kilante, Toril in Davao City.

Arthur Coloma sought the assistance of the Toril police precinct after discovering the game fowls missing from their cages Monday morning.

Coloma estimated the game fowls total value at P91,000. They were believed stolen during the early hours of Monday.

The theft and robbery section of the Toril police station is conducting a follow-up investigation to identify the suspects.

Brillantes was attending the five-cock derby with a grand prize of P2 million when he was shot dead inside the Matina Gallera on June 28. RCO
