Lt. Col. Agane Adriatico, group commander of the Civil Relation Group, based in Camp Panacan, Davao City, said in a press release that Madlos is only riding on the issues raised by the mutineers in Makati.
"If his allegations are true, then he should have to personally identify the names of military allegedly involved in the selling of AFP firearms and ammunitions to the rebels," Adriatico said in the press release.
The allegations of the mutineers that the AFP is selling firearms to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Abu Sayyaf is being investigated and properly addressed by the government.
"It only involves some soldiers at the bottom of the military hierarchy," he said.
Agane added that the only way the CPP/NPA could acquire firearms and ammunitions from the military is through the series of NPA atrocities like "agaw-armas, ambushes and raids. GPP/PR
