Teener stabbed

A TEENER is in a critical condition at the Davao Medical Center (DMC) after he was reportedly stabbed by another teener, an alleged member of the Peace Maker Gang in Salmonan Boulevard, Davao City, early Thursday morning.

The victim, who sustained stab wounds in his chest, was identified as Richard Mamaki, 15, of Isla Verde Boulevard while the suspect is identified as Junjun (name withheld for being a minor) of Mini Forest Boulevard.

According to initial investigation by the Sta. Ana police precinct, the victim was asleep inside a passenger vehicle parked in Salmonan, Boulevard, Davao City at around 2:00 a.m. Thursday when the suspect stabbed him. The suspect immediately fled afterwards.

A certain Miguel Flores who saw the incident took the victim to DMC.

Mamaki's father reported the incident to Sta. Ana Police station around 7 a.m. Thursday that they spotted the suspect in their place.

The police authorities immediately responded that resulted to suspect's arrest.

The suspect admitted stabbing the victim because of old grudges, but denied involvement with the Peace Maker Gang.

Police are preparing to file appropriate charges against the suspect. RCO/RCB
