We don't expect justice here: Pala's wife
THE wife of slain broadcaster Juan "Jun" Porras Pala said Sunday that they are not expecting justice for the brutal murder of her husband Saturday evening.
"Layo ra gyud kaayo ang hustisya. Di na ta kakuha og justice. Ipasa-Diyos na lang nako. Ginoo na lang ang bahala sa tanan (Justice is far. We can't get it anymore. The Lord will take care of everything)," Louie said in an interview at Angel Funeral Parlor on F. Torres, where the remains of the late radio-commentator lie.
Louie said what she is up to at this time is to put her husband to rest, but added she would be glad if her husband's colleagues in the media help them in their fight for justice.
She also said she would prefer Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 11 to handle the investigation.
Louie said they have already anticipated such incident because they are aware of the threats on the life of her husband. She knew Pala's days are numbered.
"Expected na na nako. Mohilom siya o magyawyaw, patyon gyud siya kay iya na mang nasugdan. Kabalo na mi nga di na siya paabton og December (I expected it. Whether he continued talking or he shut up, he would still be killed because he started it. We knew they wouldn't let him last until December)," Louie said.
Louie said during the morning radio program of her husband at radio station dxGO last Friday, the commentator named several persons who would probably kill him.
He mentioned ranking police officials in the city were who have close links with City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Duterte had been the subject of Pala's tirades on air. GPP
