Pastor Quiboloy's niece receives death threats
THE niece of international evangelist Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is reportedly in hiding after receiving death threats from still unidentified suspects.
A source said Mary Kate Quiboloy, who identified the lone suspect in the murder of her father, Constantino Quiboloy, on the evening of December 10, went into hiding Tuesday after receiving death threats through her mobile phone.
The same source, who has close relations with the victims, said suspicious-looking men were always seen at the vicinity of Mary Kate's home at Ciudad de Esperanza in Buhangin, Davao City.
Mary Kate and her father were resting inside their residence when the suspect arrived, and without provocation, shot Constantino to death.
Mary Kate rushed into her bedroom where the suspect followed her and shot her several times.
The suspect immediately fled, while the victims were brought to Davao Medical Center.
Constantino succumbed to gunshot wounds on the head and chest, while Mary Kate sustained gunshot wounds on the stomach.
Mary Kate identified the lone suspect as Alex Camia, said to be the bodyguard of Pastor Quiboloy.
The Buhangin police are to file proper charges against the suspect this week.
