DCPO beats CMO
THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) beat the City Mayor's Office 70-54 to notch its third straight win in the 2003 AFP-PNP Olympics basketball tournament at the Bankerohan covered court Tuesday night.
Former Holy Cross of Davao player Ryan Go topscored with 18 points to lead the charge for the policemen over the undermanned CMO squad now toting a 1-2 record.
In other games, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) improved to a 3-1 card after subduing 0-3 Task Force Davao 82-70 while 3-1 Philippine Air Force (PAF) waylaid 2-1 Regional Mobile Group (RMG) 89-62.
The National Support Unit scored a rousing 97-79 victory over the struggling Bureau of Fire Protection to also secure its third straight victory.
Games will resume on Friday. MLS
