Cage clinic goes to Catalunan

BARANGAY Catalunan Grande will host the 17th leg of the Mayor Rodrigo Duterte basketball clinic which resumes on Saturday and Sunday.

Newly-revitalized Duterte Agilas team, managed by Duterte's special assistant Christopher "Bong" Go, will once again teach some 150 kids on the proper way of handling the ball, dribbling, passing and shooting.

Basic drills will also be taught to the participants who will receive free RRD balls and certificates of completion during the closing rites.

Aimed at keeping children from illegal vices like drugs, a similar clinic was also held in Barangay Lapu-Lapu, Matina Aplaya, Toril, Buhangin, Bucana, Maa, Mini Forest, Bankerohan, Bunawan, Lasang, Mintal, Barangay Aquino, Barangay 19-B Fatima, Brgy. Waan and Barangay Sasa.

Close to 4,000 already benefited from the ongoing sports program of the city government of Davao. MLS
