RDL, Insider post wins
TEAM RDL feasted on Purefoods Chunkee, 89-63, Wednesday in the Vice Mayor's Cup 6th Conference at the Stella Maris gym in Davao City.
Joel Elemino and Alex Lu both had 21 points to lead RDL's assault over the hapless foodmasters. Egay Dalisay and Rodney Tan added 11 points apiece for their second straight win.
RDL, playing trouble-free in defending against their bigger opponents, led in all quarters and dominated most of the rebounds.
Purefoods leaned on Earl Ansinco in the scoring chores with some help from teammate Jamez Paz who shared 15 points.
In the other matchup, Mindanao Insider escaped a narrow 69-65 win over Team Survivor.
Eugene Chiong and Filbon Maligro topscored for Insider with 15 and 14 points, respectively, each while Rico Kwantiu and Ruben Guerra combined for 18 points.
Survivor's Quiamco had 12 points along with Ernie Te and James Regner who combined for 20 points in the backcourt. Te also had three shot blocks and one steal. JET
