K4 bets top violators of Fair Elections Act

MOST violators of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Fair Elections Act are from the K4 party of President Arroyo, according to Comelec third district officer Marlon Casquejo in an interview Saturday.

Casquejo said that Comelec district offices last week began removing campaign materials posted on undesignated areas including trees and posts.

He said campaign materials were reposted in undesignated areas after they had just removed illegally-posted materials.

National candidates are the ones who commit the most violations, he added.

Campaign materials of Mar Roxas and Bong Revilla are among those found posted in undesignated areas.

Casquejo said they have already taken photos of the illegal postings, which will be used as basis by the Comelec regional office for prosecution. AAG
