Chessfest at NCCC Mall
A TWO-day Araw ng Dabaw Mayor's Cup Chess Tournament will unfold on March 13 to 14 at the NCCC Mall of Davao.
Sanctioning National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) regional director Ronnie Tabudlong said the chessfest features the open seniors, under-20 juniors and kiddies divisions.
"The tournament will serve as our elimination round for the National Open and National Age-Group Chess Championships," Tabudlong said.
The event is organized by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office.
It will be held in coordination with NCFP and Metro Davao Chess Association. MLS
