Age-group tourney opens at NCCC
THE 1st Summer Table Tennis Age-Group Championships unfolds today at the NCCC Mall.
Close to 100 players will vie for honors in the two-day tournament that features the boys and girls 12-under and 16-under divisions.
It will be a singles event to be played on a single round robin format. Davao City bets are highly favored over visiting General Santos City, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Malita, Digos and Davao Oriental.
All champions will each receive a cash prize of P1,000 while the runners-up
will get P750 each and P500 each for third placers.
The meet is organized by the Top Sports Advantage Inc. in coordination with the Metro Davao Table Tennis Association and sanctioned by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines Region 11. MLS
