No revamp in PNP 11
By Ben O. Tesiorna

THE Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 will not undergo any revamp but is willing to accommodate requests of elected officials for a facelift in their respective turfs.

In an interview Saturday, PRO 11 chief Isidro Lapeña said that though there will be no major changes in PRO 11's organization there might be changes in some provincial or municipal offices due to the requests of some elected officials for such.

He said this is a common happening especially after elections. He said that as of noon Saturday they still have not received any request from elected officials for changes in their area.

Lapena however clarified that most of the changes, if ever there will be, would be due to career advancement of some police officers and not because of recommendations from politicians.

So far, only in Davao del Sur was there a change in provincial police leadership. Sr. Supt. Samuel Navaja was replaced by Supt. Nestor Quinsay as the provincial police director.
