CIDG seize P500T worth of fake LPG cylinders
FAKE LPG CYLINDERS. Four trucks filled with fake liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders worth P500,000 are now under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 11 after they were seized in a raid on Pryce Gas Incorporated refilling plant in Barangay Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, Wednesday. (Ben O. Tesiorna)
AT LEAST 500 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders suspected to be fabricated by a Filipino-owned gas company were confiscated by elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 11 in a series of raids, Wednesday night.

CIDG operatives first raided a warehouse in Barangay Baliok, Talomo where original LPG cylinders of Petron, Shellane and Petronas were said to be "reconstructed" and made to look like Pryce LPG cylinders.
