Saturday, August 21, 2004 Hot August nights at Speed City up
A DRAG racing event featuring close to 60 cars will hit the road at the Speed City Friday.
Jingo Camomot on Thursday said the Hot August Nights will also have a car show, ledge dancing, concert and a bikini open.
"The race will enter the usual brackets. We expect competitors from Manila, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos," Camomot told DSA members in a forum at the Tower Inn.
A Cagayan de Oro participant who reportedly owns one of the fastest cars in the region will also show his wares in the two-day activity.
Trophies and other giveaways including Outlast batteries are at stake in the two-day event. MLS
