UM rules DFA event

POWERHOUSE University of Mindanao emerged champion in the Inter-Collegiate tournament at the Tionko football grounds over the weekend.

UM, coached by veteran Francisco "Iko" Villano, beat the Davao City Under-19 squad that settled for the runner-up honors.

The Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) eleven finished third in the bootfest organized by the Davao Football Association (DFA) in preparation for the upcoming National Under-19 Championships. (MLS)
