30 Teenccclub finalists jumpstart on activities

AFTER the exhilarating screening of the Teenccclub Model Search, sponsored by NCCC department stores, last October 9, the top 30 finalists, composed of 15 males and 15 females, kicked off with a series of workshops and activities.

Top 30's first bonding

Their first stop was a fun-filled Bonding Workshop aimed at promoting team spirit and camaraderie conducted by NCCC's People Division. The workshop emphasized the value of planning for a group, cooperation, and teamwork as well as facing challenges that would start a new and lasting friendship.

Personality Development Workshop

The Top 30's second night together was loaded with interesting lectures and demonstrations. They had hands-on lessons on basic make up application, choosing the right shades for the right skin color. The workshop was facilitated by Deo Antojado and Jon Nuñez of Glam Model House.

They also tackled personal hygiene, diet, exercise, fashion sense, beauty and attitude, interpersonal skills, and purpose, emphasizing that they are not merely fashion models but role models as well.

Teenccclub Challenge 1: The Job Hunt The finalists had their first challenge last October 13--the Teenccclub Job Hunt, where all of them underwent the real process of applying for a job, from submitting application letters and resumes, to the grueling job interview.

The challenge--to get the marketing job open only for two candidates. To get it, they had to undergo a rigid panel interview.

NCCC's Recruitment Unit had a hard time choosing who to "hire" since all of the teens displayed impressive performance and much enthusiasm for the task that were given them.

In the end, Gino Carlo Dingding and Ma. Luz Isabel Molina got the job. Both now have a Teenccclub merit pin, each equivalent to 25 points.

Every challenge gives them the chance to earn points and vie for the strongest candidate category (male and female) to win P1000 worth of gift certificates, P2000 worth of gift items from the NCCC Department Store, and a Certificate to be proud of.

The Top 30 who outshone close to 300 Teenccclub aspirants in the pre-screening include: Gino Carlo Dingding, Vicenzo Isidore Weill, Ralph Shotwell, Leonardo Luigi Clapis, Redmond Carr, Karl Kenjie Aguilar, Joseph Anthony Tan, Chuck Ali Gepaya, Richard Paul Ferrer, Dan Lester Dabon, Graham Cañeda, Alexander William Sy, Ramon Angelo Alonzo, Roland Chevy Lim, and Mark Joseph Casupanan for the male category.

The Top 15 females are: Maria Luz Isabel Molina, Kristabelle Go, Mary Grace Morala, Aubrey Ross Abarcar, Alma Joy Babao, Patrice Su, Jocelyn Joyce Estoque, Natassja Marie Ang, Bonita Fe Isla, Irene Benn Lascuña, Riza Quitain, Samantha Rose de Leon, Mari Christian Alexa Marfori, Joanna Victoria Sy, and Elizabel Eileen de Lumban.

The Teenccclub Top 30 surely have a hectic schedule up ahead to experience exciting activities all throughout the contest period before reaching the Grand Finals on October 30.
