DFA bootfest resumes Sunday at Tionko grounds

TWO games will usher in the second division of the DFA Cup at the Tiongko football grounds in Agro compound on Sunday.

The Mindanao International Christian Academy collides with Ateneo de Davao University on field 1 while Athletic Belisario FC takes on Power Team on field 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Medvil battles Hambusa (field 1) while U-14 team clashes against Vineyard (field 2) at 3 p.m.

The Holy Child School of Davao "Dream Team", Korean Missionaries and Rajawali squads are also entered in the bootfest organized by the Davao Football Association.

Organizers said division 1 players can play in the second division provided they are 32 years old and above and 17 years old and below.

The second division will be played Saturdays, except on opening day, while division 1 is held Sundays. But Division 1 team managers decided to reset games earlier slated on Sunday since some players are in Bacolod City for the National University Games (Uni-Games). (MLS)
