When old friends meet By Ana Felicia Dulay
IT did not seem like 20 years ago, but that is exactly how long we have marched down the aisle of the old, (emphasis on the old), Ateneo de Davao University high school covered court. Yes, those were the days when everybody knew everbody.
It was such a night of fun, laughter, reminiscent of teenage days at the Club Med last Dec. 28 when batch '84 gathered together. Attendance was wonderful, all 67 of us, from a total of over over 200. At the risk of being skinned alive, let me mention those who attended but whose photos I could not possibly squeeze in, some were too-camera shy perhaps. Here goes: Ana Siapno-Gualberto, Michael Fanlo, Manny Hagad, Michael Jamiana, Jerome Iņigo, Helen Lu, Florio Argullas, Jr., Isidro Albano, Imping Dailisan, Bing Gumban, Eugene Gonzales, Jose Miguel Pagsaligan, Rex Vincent Perido (The Three Musketeers were not complete that night), Vadie Deocampo, Edmund Piatos, Allie Andrion, Cho Leonor, Andrew Bundalian, Audie Vega, Joseph Sapaula, Dahlia Sollaņo Arancel, Fitzgerald Arancel, Luigi Allado and wife Ella Aportadera, Jimmy Gomez, Bong Villanueva, Jigs Guerrero-Layno, James Vergara, Marilou Gonzales, Pinky Rubio and John Sison. Nicolo Rabat, many thanks for the lechon baka. Also Rep. Vincent Garcia and councilor Ricardo Cabling, for the lechon. Perhaps next year you will not fail to grace the occasion.
For those who have missed this year's grand reunion, don't fret. You still have next year to catch up. With our Silver Jubilee (aarrgggghhhhhhh) in the offing, the team would not be complete with a missing player, right?
