Law student charged with lascivious acts

A LAW student of the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) has been slapped with charges before the City Prosecutor's Office for allegedly mashing the breast of a female seatmate inside a public utility jeepney the other day.

Facing charges for acts of lasciviousness is 22-year-old Angelo Pesigan of Alpha Homes, Matina, Davao City based on the complaint filed by 32-year-old Giselle (real name withheld) of Ma-a, Davao City.

In her affidavit-complaint, Giselle alleged that she was riding a jeepney along McArthur Highway with her daughter, elder sister and niece on February 7 when she felt somebody mashed her breast.

Upon turning, she was shocked to see the hand of the male passenger seated beside her mashing her right breast.

When she shouted, Pesigan withdrew his hand and put it inside his backpack.

Giselle asked the driver to take the jeepney to the Talomo Police Station so she could report the incident.

Giselle's sister supported her complaint and added that police were also able to recover a VCD Playboy tape, a lewd picture of a man and a woman, and Pesigan's ADDU identification card.

Pesigan is presently detained at the Talomo police detention cell. (RCB)
