Guard dies inside mistress' house
By Joy G. Romares

A SECURITY guard was found dead by his mistress inside the latter's room in Agdao, Davao City, late Tuesday night.

The victim, who was said to have suffered from cardiac arrest, was identified as Ronie Abdulah, 27, of Binugao, Toril, a security guard of the Columbia Security Agency and assigned at the Davao Waterfront Insular Hotel.

Police Officer 1 Eric Ramirez, investigator of the Santa Ana police precinct, said that one Prima Bagohin, 40, self-employed, and resident of Venus Street in Agdao called 911 after she discovered Abdulah's lifeless body inside her room.

Bagohin claimed that Abdulah, who has a family in Toril, arrived at her house at around 7 p.m.

Bagohin added that Abdulah went inside her room at around 9 p.m. to sleep, but when she retired at around 11:30 p.m. she found Abdulah already dead.

The 911 paramedics, who responded in Bagohin's call, said Abdulah could have died of cardiac arrest.

The paramedics said Abdulah has no injuries and could have passed away thirty minutes before they arrived.

Bagohin said Abdulah often visited her in her house. Police recovered the personal belongings of the victim including a pair of shoes, clothes and his wallet that are now under the custody of the Santa Ana police precinct.

The cadaver of the victim was brought to the Patalinghug Funeral Homes for autopsy.
