This is the vision of its theme "Unifying the bangus industry towards global competitiveness".

Erlinda Ali, officer-in-charge of the Extension Training and Communication Division of Bfar-11, said in an interview Monday that the major output of the event is the drafting of an action plan by all the bangus stakeholders.

The action plan will then be incorporated in the Philippine Bangus Masterplan.

The event is expected to gather around 300 participants coming from the different sectors of the industry throughout the country.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will grace the event.
