Water district remains unbeaten

THE Davao City Water District (DCWD) kept its unbeaten slate after crushing University of Mindanao (UM), 7-0, in the resumption of the 1st Balmis Diao Memorial Cup Fast Pitch Softball Tournament at the PTA field Sunday.

DCWD totes a three-win, no-loss record to grab the solo lead in the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (Asaphil)-sanctioned meet.

UM dropped to a 1-1 card.

Tagaki Dragons recovered from its first game loss by beating Rizal Memorial Colleges, 9-6.

The Dragons improved to a 1-1 record, while the RMC Bullodgs remained at the cellar with a 0-2 slate.
