Davao's Ladra tops bikefest

HILARIO Ladra of Davao City won the open expert title of the 4th Banakon Trail Mountain Bike Challenge in an out-and-back course in Tagum City Sunday.

Ladra's fellow Davao Pobre Bikers Association (Dapoba) mainstays Glen Yap and defending champion Ruel Casaljay placed fourth and sixth, respectively.

Kenneth Guino-o was third in the bikefest organized by the Biking Gladiators of Tagum City and supported by the Federation of Off-Road Cycling Enthusiasts (Force).

Ladra received a cash prize of P6,000 in the race that also featured the fun ride category.

The heaviest, oldest and youngest riders also received prizes along with the father-and-son tandem and biggest delegation.

The event was organized as part of the 38th Araw ng Davao del Norte celebration. (MLS)
