Erik Santos to perform live at SM City

THERE is no denying that Erik Santos deserves the moniker Prince of Pop.

In the span of one year, he has managed to achieve what most artists his age can only dream of--he has the title of Grand Champion to his name, has earned a Platinum record award for his debut album This Is The Moment, has had sold-out concerts here and abroad wherein he has top-billing, has several chart-topping singles and he has garnered legions of loyal fans all over the world.

He is also one of the most sought-after artists we have right now in the music business.

In spite all of these Erik remains grounded. Which may also be why the blessings keep on pouring in. He hasn't let success get into his head.

Straight from the success of his debut album (which, incidentally is now Double Platinum), that brought us the massive hits "Pagbigyang Muli," "Di Ko Kaya" and "Kung Akin Ang Mundo," Erik is back once again to share his music with us.

His new single is entitled "I'll Never Go," which incidentally is the theme from the top-rating Korean telenovela "Stained Glass."

"I'll Never Go" was originally done by Nexxus, but Erik has given it a fresh rendition--making it his own. It's currently on high rotation in radio stations nationwide, once again lording over the airwaves and topping the charts.

The music video for the song directed by Treb Monteras II is also getting extensive airplay on MYX and has entered the Top Ten of the most requested music videos on the station.

"I'll Never Go" is included in the three-track CD Lite of the same title, released by Star Records.

What's notable about this CD Lite is the fact that Erik has tried his hand at writing a song--something that he has wanted to do since the start of his career. He wrote the song "Kung Maaalala Mo," collaborating with prolific songwriter Arnold Reyes.

Also included in the CD Lite is the Jimmy Antiporda-penned song "Who's Loving You Now?" Although it only contains three tracks, the I'll Never Go CD Lite is worth buying. It will surely move its listeners will all its heartrending melody.

Experience Erik Santos' music as he performs live at the Entertainment Plaza of SM CIty Davao on July 8 at 4 p.m.

I'll Never Go CD Lite is now available in record stores nationwide released under Star Records. This event is also brought to you by Star Records, Philippine Airlines and Picture City.
