Exciting Bridal event to hit Cagayan de Oro

WHAT is in about brides and weddings that capture our imagination?
Kasalan Filipino 2005, the Philippine Bridal Fair Road Show will hit again Cagayan de Oro on July 14-16 at SM City! This event features the best of Philippine wedding essentials and highlights Filipino wedding customs and traditions. This is a part of a ten-city tour culminating in Manila. This year's bridal exhibit will also feature real weddings on reel, wedding singers, bridal talks and an exceptionally stylish fashion show.
This 3-day bridal exhibit started with a motorcade and a press conference last July 12 at SM Atrium. It will also showcase various wedding cakes, giveaways, honeymoon get-aways, floral decors, balloon decors, wedding coordinators, hair & make-up artists and the like.
There will be a lavish bridal fashion show, which will feature bridal and entourage's gowns at 4 p.m. on July 16, Saturday at the SM Atrium!
The activity aims to promote Filipino wedding, practices and traditions and promote local wedding suppliers, the wedding industry and the tourist spots within the area. It also aims to help enliven the Department of Trade and Industry's National SME Development Plan and DOT's (Visit Philippines Program) goal of making the Philippines a prime wedding destination in Asia.
There will also be raffle draws, Meet a Match Dating Game on July 15 at 1:00 pm and a cooking demo by Ed Dychauco (Pots and Pans) on the same day at 3:00 pm.
Local fashion designers and wedding shops such as Brigs Maandig, Benjie Manuel, Cameron's, Teresing's, M.E Bridal and Designer's Assembly will also be featured during the event.
The event is presented by kasal.com, ABS-CBN and Professional Organizers Unlimited. It was also brought to us by Dunkin Donuts, Celestial Artistry Creations, Dragon Fireworks, Jonie's Flavored Chicken, The Site, Christian Flowershop by Roel Yap, Globalchips Technologies, JCA Realty, VIP Hotel, Lauremar Hotel and Pryce Plaza.
