The three were caught by a team from the Santa Ana Police Precinct led by Police Officer 3 Danilo Daquigan at around 5 p.m.

The police were on foot patrol in the area. Police recovered a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu, an aluminum foil with crystalline residue, an improvised foil tooter, a needle-type aluminum foil, a lighter, a candle and a cutter.

Senior Police Officer 4 Melanio Dilan, chief investigator of the Santa Ana Police Precinct, told Sun.Star Davao that they are preparing the charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act 2002) against the suspects.

"The recovered items are ready for qualitative examination, then i-file na dayon namo ang kaso (we will immediately file the case)," Dilan said.

Among those who arrested the suspects are Police Officers 2 Leo Tandog and Neil Arellano, Police Officers 1 Arnel Naraval and Eric Ramirez and Police Officer 3 Robert Ainin.
