Judy Ann, Ryan fall in love in 'Maalaala'

ARE they or aren't they in love? When they first worked together on ABS-CBN's "superserye" Krystala, many viewers remarked on the special chemistry that evolved between Drama Princess Judy Ann Santos and TV host Ryan Agoncillo.

But now, with Krystala over, the two are still constantly by each other's side.

It is because of the special magic that Judy Ann and Ryan have together that ABS-CBN's muti-awarded drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya invited them both to take on roles for the extraordinary love story it will present tonight.

Judy Ann Santos is Susan, a hopeful young mother who was forced to take on the job of a GRO in a nightclub in order to earn money for her son and her lazy father and brother, all of whom depend solely on Susan's earnings.

Despite everything, however, Susan refused to let her surroundings or her job degrade her because she still wanted to respect herself and keep her dignity.

Soon, Susan crosses paths with Ralph (Ryan Agoncillo), a balikbayan who spent almost all his growing-up years in Los Angeles.

Ralph, who has lived a very aimless life so far, is entranced by kind-hearted Susan and her son Joaquin (Jacob Dionisio).

But with all the time they spend together, will the warm feelings of friendship between Susan and Ralph turn into something more?

And what happens when Ralph discovers the secret that his mother has kept from him all those years in LA--that his biological father is alive and well and in the Philippines?

Ces Quesada, Tommy Abuel, Dick Israel, Gino Paul Guzman, Angel de Leon and Joem also have featured roles in this romantic episode.

Charo Santos-Concio hosts this must-see episode.
