Kadayawan Predator Cup kicks off August 27-28 By Marianne L. Saberon
THE Kadayawan Adidas Predator Cup Football Festival will kick off August 27-28 at the Tionko field in Agro Industrial Foundation Colleges compound.
The two-day bootfest, jointly organized by the Davao Football Association (DFA) and the Sports Development Division (SDD), will feature eight categories.
These are the mixed boys and girls eight years old and under, mixed boys and girls 10-under, boys 12-under, 14-under, elementary girls, high school boys and girls and ladies open events.
Local teams expect stiff competition as Camp Phillips in Bukidnon, Central Mindanao University of Musuan, Bukidnon, Maguindanao and Cotabato City will also field entries.
Organizers still welcome teams from the public and private schools, local government units and non-government organizations.

The adidas Predator Cup is a grassroots competition for six years to 12 years old that started in 1999. The event is spearheaded by the Philippine Football Federation.
