Star-studded Kadayawan

THIS year's Kadayawan sa Dabaw promises to be star-studded with a line-up of prominent showbiz personalities expected to grace various events during the week-long festivities.
Catch your favorite stars perform in Davao City's shopping malls, starting with Session Road, one of the country's top performing bands, at The Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao at 3 p.m. today. Listen to the group as they perform their hit song "Suntok sa Buwan."
On August 19, Gaisano South Citimall presents TV Idol DM Sevilla during the grand finals of Vaseline Healthy Minds, Itch-Free Family Quiz Bowl at the Entertainment Center where he will also stage a mini-concert at 9 p.m., coinciding with the mall's midnight sale.
On the same day at the Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao, Boy 2 Quizon and the Jaboom Twins will stage a mini-show that will be capped with autograph signing, courtesy of Globe Telecoms.
After watching the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan on August 20, watch your favorite stars perform at your preferred shopping mall.
At SM City Davao, the country's top performing group Freestyle will entertain revelers during the Kadayawan Street Party at the mall's Open Parking D, starting at 6 p.m. Dance and enjoy the party as the Davao City-born group performs their hit songs.
At Gaisano Mall, basketball star Alvin Patrimonio will grace the finals of Purefoods Chunkee Corned Beef 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at The Atrium at 10 a.m.
At 4 p.m., catch Danilo Barrios and Divo Bayer performing live in a variery show also at The Atrium.
On the same day, it's a star-studded Kadayawan Specials at Gaisano South. The cast of popular teleserye over ABS CBN, Kampanerang Kuba will be at the 5th Floor Entertainment Center to entertain shoppers starting at 3 p.m.
The cast, led by Anne Curtis, Luis Manzano and Christian Bautista, will be joined by Vhong Navarro, John Prats, Maja Salvador and child wonder Aaron Junatas.
The following day on August 21 will be the Float Parade. After you satisfy yourself with the colorful floats joining the parade and the competition, watch another set of popular stars performing live in various venues in the city.
At SM City, its the live performance of the entire cast of Sunday noontime variety show Asap Mania 05 at 12 noon followed by Asap Fanatics at 2:30 p.m.
Both shows will be staged at SM City Davao Grounds.
Leading the cast are the shows' hosts Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, Vina Morales, Piolo Pascual, Luis Manzano, Christian Bautista, Rachelle
Ann Go, Sarah Geronimo and other big ABS-CBN talents.
At 4 p.m at the Entertainment Plaza, Ella May Saison will entertain shoppers and revelers with a live performance.
At the same time, sultry star Desiree del Valle will grace the Magic Festival Special at the Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao.
At 7:30 at the PTA Grounds, catch the Sexbomb and Sugarfree performing live in a free concert tagged as Pasasalamat ni Mayor, one of the highlights of the festival. It is a "thank you" concert offered by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to residents and visitors.
