Army jins sizzle

THE Philippine Army jins collected a total of eight gold medals, one silver and one bronze to emerge over-all champion in the 1st Kadayawan Taekwondo Challenge at the Wheels N' More badminton courts.

The Davao Taekwondo Center took five golds, four silvers and six bronzes for the runner-up honors while Rising Dragon was third with four golds, six silvers and three bronzes.

Trailing behind were Ateneo Tigers (4-5-4) and Golden Shields (3-7-4).

Medals were awarded to the winners of the one-day tae kwon do meet managed by Giovanni delos Santos.
