Osing captures Class A crown

VIC Osing hit 227 pinfalls to rule the class A event of the SBC Bowler of the Week tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday night.

Osing bested Vic Pusod, who rolled 218 pins, and Jimmy Sia with 208.

Ping Efondo and Naty Amorillo also shared the limelight in the meet organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.

Efondo amassed 237 in the two-game event for the class B title while Jun Layno (221) and Ed Mercado (215) settled for second and third, respectively.

Amorillo took the ladies crown with 198.

Meanwhile, SBC president Emie Orteza thanked Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) William "Butch) Ramirez for supporting the 20th kadayawan Open Bowling Tournament a success. (MLS)
