Abulencia, Estravo show way
CONDRAD Estravo and Coy Abulencia combined for a total of 6,800 pinfalls to lead the team standings in the Datba Doubles Classics at the NCCC Mall B3 Center.
Estravo hit a total of 3,310 while Abulencia rolled 3,490 pins in the tournament organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association.
The tandem of Boy Roldan and Rudy Soldao came in close second with 6,751 while the Dr. Billy Magdale-Vic Te amassed 6,911 was third.
Trailing behind wre PJ Trinidad-Ver Avelino (6,648), Richard Arigo-William Lam (6,516), Arthur Galendez-John Galendez (6,555) and Gary Snyder-Boyet Ancheta (6,400).
Meanwhile, Alan Edulan emerged champion in the masters category of the Datba July Monthly Medal tournament.
He bested Richard Arigo and Arthur Galendez who placed second and third, respectively.
In the associate master category, PJ Trinidad topped over Mu Bin and Vic Te.
Froi Balagtas was the top qualifier in the master category while Edulan was the top finisher and Arigo went home with the highest single title.
Trinidad was the top qualifier and top finisher in the associate master event while Bin was the highest single. (MLS)
