Holy Child blasts SPCT

THE troika of Baser Amer, Jonard Dayap and Peter Lorejo came up with big games to power Holy Child past SPCT, 82-70, in the 3rd Gaisano South Cip cadet division match Saturday at the Gaisano South Skygym.
Amer scored 19 points, while Dayap and Lorejo added 15 and 14, respectively for Holy Child that put to naught the 44-point performane of SPCT's Edel Francis Serapio.
Amer also grabbed two rebounds, had three assists and six steals to emerge the game's best player.
In another cadet division matchup, the Ateneo de Davao plastered HCAS, 67-58, while Holy Cross beat Holy Child, 85-78, in a mini division encounter.
Lemuel Dominique Escudero topscored with 36 points for HCDC.
He also had nine rebounds, three assists and 10 steals and was named the best player of the game.
In the women's division, SANHS stopped AdDU, 52-45, with Vartolomeah dela Torre leading the attack with 19 points.
Angelica Joy Bonleon and Ailen Bernadez chipped in 14 and 11 points, respectively.
