GMA 7 launches medical mission tomorrow
AS PART of GMA's top-rating public affairs program Emergency's monthly medical mission special and the Network's Serbisyong Totoo, Emergency in partnership with GMA Davao's top local news program Testigo will conduct a special medical mission tomorrow at the Poblacion Gym in Toril, Davao City.
Dubbed, "Igan sa Kalusugan, Emergency Medical Mission in Davao," the mission will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for walk-in starts at 1 p.m.
Emergency and Testigo will provide free general check-up. The medical mission will be led by one of the Serbisyong Totoo pillars and Emergency host Arnold Clavio and Testigo news anchor Madonna Timbal.
As GMA's longest-running station-produced news and public affairs program, Emergency has changed with the times. It now runs actual rescue stories, investigative exposes, reports on medical breakthroughs and public service features every week.
Emergency's long-running success lies in its ability to help people in need. It not only presents real emergency stories in the hope viewers will pick up significant lessons and eventually triumph over their own life-threatening situations but also provides opportunities for people to come together and help each other in times of need.
