Organizer Abraham Verdeprado said the 4 p.m. curtain raiser pits host HCDC Crusaders against DMMA College of Southern Philippines.

The two-day cagefest will be a knockout tournament where the winners will arrange a titular showdown on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. while the losers will battle for third at 4 p.m.

Trophies are up for grabs in the meet that will apply the Prisaa rules that require players to have passed 60 percent of their subjects enrolled last semester.

Jollibee, Purefoods, Philbev, Seapalm Brokerage, Greenwhich and Montana Pawnshop are sponsoring the tournament. (MLS)
