Davao booters draw with South Cotabato
THE Davao City eleven drew with South Cotabato, 4-4, Thursday at the start of the addidas U-19 South/Central Mindanao Finals in Tagum City.
Host Davao del Norte crushed Compostela Valley, 4-0, in an earlier match.
Renoir Moises Negro sizzled with a hattrick in the third, 22nd and 44th minutes as teammate Johnny Victor Molinos knocked in a goal in the 67th.
South Cotabato relied mainly on Eduardo Napoles Jr. who scored three goals (3rd, 11th, 34th) while Albert Conjerado hit a goal in the 41st.
The Ramonito Carreon-coached Davao was still playing ComVal as of press time.
Other teams entered in the event are North Cotabato, Cotabato City, Maguindnao and Tagum-Davao del Norte. Computer College), Clifford Dacera (EMAR), Jerome Balaga (UM), Enrique Romero-Salas (Ateneo), Emerson Roy Demegillo (Hambusa), Nicholas Borromeo (ADDU), Joey Arobo (EMAR), Candao Laguilayan (UM) Johnny Victor Molinos (Agro) and Jonathan Daniel Miller (MICA) composed the Davao City roster with RP junior member Jason Mortillero as assistant coach.
