PWC Davao holds alumni homecoming By Marissa S. Te Eng Fo
PHILIPPINE Women's College of Davao held their alumni homecoming at the Davcon recently. The focus was the global alumni next year. A lot of alumni graced the affair wearing their favorite headdress. Brenda Barba, chair of the School of Fine Arts, wore a very smartly designed mad hatter’s head gear.
As you all know, Brenda's children (Aztec and Popoy of Patahian) received several national awards and are also well known internationally in the field of couture.
Guests from Manila Bubbles Villafuerte and Linda Chinhuanco of PWU also were present. These two ladies are big supporters of PWC Davao. They came with the newly installed PWC president Amylou Benitez-Reyes who was also here for her regular visit. The entertainment numbers were provided by the old and new graduates similarly done too by the students of the school.
Seen during this event were Alik Azurin, Lisa Tonogbanua, Adelina Lozada, PWC vice president Mely Bonifacio and sister Erlin Bonifacio-Basa, Joan Lim, Efrenita Gamalong, Director of Academic Affairs Dr. Laura Cespon, Dada Lozano, Alma Lacerna, Aurea Daniel, Dr. Rosa Munda, Mr and Mrs. Dinky Munda and many more.
Good luck to the global homecoming next year. The alumni living overseas were quite excited to come visit the alma mater next year as seen on video! Have a great day everyone!
