Red Spider Man wins in Igacos
THE Red Spider Man edged Cream Tazmanian 557-556 for the over-all championship of the just-concluded Island Garden City of Samal Mini Olympics at Sights and Thrill in Mambago, Igacos.
The White Wolves took the third spot with 529 while the Yellow Wolverine scored 527 in close fourth followed by Orange Dragon Ball Z with 498.
Trailing behind were the Blue Mighty Ducks (399) and ABC Team (242).
The one-day event featured rock wall climbing, rappelling, obstacle course, slide for life, air soft shooting, dart, table tennis, volleyball, sack race, tug of war, track and field, karamola cockfighting, videoke contest and flag raising.
The event was organized to provide camaraderie and promote physical fitness among 600 employees of the city.
Cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the winners. (MLS)
