Apo in great shape

THE 16th Durian Tee Invitational Golf Tournament tees off at the scenic Apo Golf and Country Club on November 24-27 with 400 golfers expected to see action.

The four-day tournament, which is held in cooperation with Mitsubishi Motors (KARASIA), will have individual and team competitions and offers grand prizes to the winners.

The hole-in-one prizes alone are fantastic: a brand new Mitsubishi Montero, P500,000 cash and a motorcycle.

Considered as one of the biggest golfing events in Davao City, the Durian Tee attracts large number of participants yearly.

Apo's Martin Mesa said they are expecting around 400 golfers from all over the city and he neighboring areas this year what with the huge prizes at stake.

The Apo course is now in excellent condition to host the event, according to Mesa.

The course is a par-72 layout with the majestic Mt. Apo serving as a perfect backdrop.

Registration fee for members is P1,500 and P2,500 for the guests. Each member is allowed to bring in two guests for the tournament.

RJ Homes Appliance Plaza, JLBP Manpower Services, H2zero and JS Davtrade Int'l Inc. support the event.
