THE country's largest law firm, Sycip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan (SycipLaw), celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Davao branch on October 7 at its new offices, located at the penthouse of Davao's premier business address, Landco Corporate Centre.
More than 70 friends and clients of the firm from all over the country graced the occasion, as well as partners and associates based at the firm's Makati, Subic and Cebu offices. The occasion was also in celebration of SycipLaw's 60th anniversary.
SycipLaw managing partner Lew Llanillo and former managing partner, Andy Gatmaitan personally received the firm's guests, such as Davao City Councilors Rene Lopez, Bel Reta and Pete Laviña, Judge Joe Lopez, lawyer Nonoy Villa-Abrille and representatives of the firm's clients such as Jewm Agro Industrial Corp., BWSC Mindanao, Nakayama Technology, Del Monte Fresh Produce, BPI, UCPB and other valued clients and friends.
The event included a special video presentation highlighting the milestones throughout the 60 years of SycipLaw. In his speech, Llanillo said that the newer and bigger office of Sycip Davao enables it to keep pace with the growth of its Davao clients and cater to their more sophisticated legal requirements amidst the fast changing Davao business environment.
