Santillan Cup opens Friday at Odytorium
THE PM Butch Santillan Cup Invitational Billiards Tournament fires off from Oct. 28 to Nov. 15 at the Odytorium Sports Bar located at Chong's Compound along Cabaguio Avenue, Davao City.
The event will be a doubles-alternate, organizer Ody Gajitos announced during Thursday's regular Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn.
Teams seeing action are National Food Authority, ABCD Durian Distributor, Phil. Coast Guard-A, Phil. Coast Guard-B, Goldstar Hardware, Framers Supplies, Terro Electrical, Menzi, Medatta-A, Medatta-B, Waterfront Guardians and Philippine Ports Authority.
Special guest during the 6 p.m. opening is Paciano Bangoy barangay captain Jovito G. Salazar. The champion will get P3,000 while the second and third placers are assured P2,000 and P1,000, respectively. The top three finishers will also receive trophies.
