1st oral treatment vs 'pekas' now in Davao

FINALLY, the first oral treatment against freckles is now in the Davao market.

Pynocare 40 Actisome capsules fight freckles or "pekas" at their roots with their unique MSCC Complex Actisome -- a unique formulation developed by Indian physicist Vivek Dhawan, and distributed in the local market by Mega Products Limited Philippines through Metro Drug, Inc.

Freckles, which is clinically known as melasma, is an increased pigmentation in sun-exposed areas of the face due to overproduction of the melanin or the skin's color pigment. In common terms, this condition is also called dark spots, brown patches, discoloration or hyperpigmentation. Melasma appears as irregularly shaped grey-brown spots or dark brown patches on the face. Most often it appears on both sides of the face usually on the cheeks, forehead, nose bridge, upper lip, and jaw lines.

Usually developed among middle-aged women, melasma is caused by prolonged exposure of the skin to sunlight and can be triggered by various factors like: cosmetics products (astringent, peeling agents); hormonal changes due to pregnancy, oral contraceptives, and anti-seizure drugs; and genetic influence.

Pynocare's MSCC Complex Actisome formulation is composed of all-natural and highly effective ingredients that act specifically on hyperactive melanocytes and controls overproduction of melanin. It ensures all ingredients are fully absorbed by the body and start to work immediately.

First launched in Manila in June this year, Pynocare has been in the Thailand market since the late 1990s. Its efficacy is backed up with two clinical studies conducted in Thailand and Malaysia, where it had been proven that Pynocare has 85 percent efficacy rate after at least 8 weeks of continued use though it is safe for long-term consumption

According to Claire Valerie Tan, product executive of Mega Products Limited Philippines, Pynocare 40 Actisome is approved by the Bureau of Food and Drugs as an over-the-counter drug and is now available at Watsons in SM City Davao, all Mercury Drug stores, Farmacia Southern, Rose Pharmacy, HBC at NCCC Mall, Sta. Ana Pharmacy, and Suy Hoo.

Pynocare 40 Actisome is on exhibit at the ground floor of SM City Davao, near the Quimpo Blvd. entrance, until November 23. For more information on Pynocare you may call hotline (02) 894-1111 or text 0917-8274330. (GAA)
