Nutcracker: A Christmas ballet
By Gigie A. Agtay

THE Holiday Season is a time for masquerade shows and parties. This year's celebration promises to be more exciting with a night of ballet and fellowship.

Dubbed "Nutcracker: A Christmas Ballet," the event will be held at the CAP Auditorium along Anda Street, Davao City at 7 p.m. on December 19.

Some 81 ballet enthusiasts will participate in the Christmas ballet that is presented by the Royal School of Ballet and Atlanta Festival Ballet, USA in association with Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) Ballet and Philippine Women's College Ballet.

ADDU's group includes Katrina Ann Villa-Agustin, Amerey Llorente, Arianna del Rosario, Chlezce Quilla, Jaiah Quirante, Danielle Moran, Kessel Kim Macasaet, Shaila Mae Delmar-Rebortera Nicole Dominik Boquison, Jade Monica Ruyeras, Veronica Jane Co, and Aliyah B. Bautista.

"Nutcracker: A Christmas Ballet" is the second ballet show in Davao City directed by Mr. Gregory Aaron with co-artistic director Nicolas Pacaña of the Atlanta Festival Ballet. The first one, dubbed "Nutcracker: A Jungle Book," was held in summer this year.
