UM, HCDC fight for volley title

THE perennial battle continues as archrivals University of Mindanao (UM) and Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) clash against each other for the men's and women's crowns of the DC-Prisaa Meet volleyball competition at the UM Matina Gym Tuesday.

HCDC men spikers will have a twice-to-beat advantage while the UM volleybelles will enjoy the same privilege.

HCDC women's coach Exequiel "Iking" Tomines, Monday, said, "We have a game plan for tomorrow. Let's just wait and see."

In baseball, UM will start its title-retention bid in its best-of-three championship against Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Tuesday.

Matches in chess competition were still playing as of press time.

Champions in the Davao City Private Schools Athletic Association (DC-Prisaa) will advance to the Regional Finals. (MLSA)
