City contractuals get P2-T cash gift Friday
CONTRACTUAL employees of the Davao City Hall are scheduled to receive their cash gifts and salaries Friday, Human Resource and Management Officer Marcelino P. Escalada Jr. said Thursday.
Escalada said they are anticipating the release on or before Friday, giving out the employees' salary for the whole month of December along with their P2,000 bonus.
He added that Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte instructed all department heads that there should be no queuing in front of the City Treasurer's Office just to get their cash gift on December 24 and salary on December 31 since these days are non-working days.
Escalada said they already distributed the mayor's to P1,000 gift checks to each employee of the City Government.
"This P1,000 can be used the at the NCCC Mall at the supermarket and department store. So employees have their choice of whatever they want this Christmas season," Escalada added.
The P5,000 cash gift for plantilla workers were already given on December 1. (BRQ)
