Executive dep't at its best in 2005: Avisado

DAVAO City Administrator Wendel E. Avisado said the executive department has been at its best in doing their responsibilities as the implementers of the plans and programs of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for 2005.

Avisado, in a recent interview, said though some departments and offices of the executive department have experienced problems, it has been continually addressed by the mayor through series of revamps of the said offices and departments.

"I would like to believe that until it is disputed by the public themselves, what I can say is we really tried our best and if our best is not enough, we are willing to also receive the plaque and honor or the verdict whatever it be from the people," he added.

The department will not argue on whatever judgment the public will have since the public is the reason on why the department exists, he said.

"And we continue to stick together and work as a team and stay with our mayor, follow his directions, so that we can have unity and we can also in a united manner pursue the various implementation of the various programs and projects of the city government," Avisado said. (BRQ)
