Man out on bail, killed on Christmas
This handmade poster is found inside a public high school in Maco, Compostela Valley, and the photo was taken just before Christmas. Obviously, in making this poster, somebody got his metaphors mixed and ended up hitting his thumb instead of hitting the head of the nail. That the poster is right up a prominent space in the classroom shows no one, not even the teacher, noticed. Education gone awry or a wry sense of humor? Go figure. (Sun.Star Davao/Stella A. A 28-year-old man, recently released from jail, was gunned down on Christmas Day in Digos City.

Peter James Aznar, alias Jemboy, was waiting for a ride at the corner of Bonifacio and Magsaysay Streets at around 8 p.m. when two unidentified gunmen onboard a motorcycle shot him several times.
