It's a KO for Manny
AS THE much-anticipated rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales is getting nearer and nearer, more and more boxing observers are predicting a knockout victory for the Filipino champion.
Based on the latest online poll being conducted by HBO, some 39 percent say Pacquiao will put Morales to sleep in their Jan. 21 tussle, with only 14 percent believing he would win on points.
Just a week ago, only 36 percent said Pacquiao will win by KO.
Some voters, or 28 percent of them say the Mexican will score a win by decision. Seventeen percent say Morales will prevail by KO.
Two percent, meanwhile, think the bout will end on a draw.
The predictions were made based on the question as to what they think will be the outcome of the Pacquiao-Morales fight in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao lost to Morales the first time they met in an epic encounter in Las Vegas last March.
Pacquiao, a native of General Santos City, suffered a nasty cut in the fifth round due to an accidental head butt and was fighting with one god eye until the 12th round.
The Filipino pug is coming off a huge win against Hector Velazquez, while Morales suffered a defeat in his last bout to Zahir Raheem.
